Bug Season is Here for Wichita, KS and Surrounding Areas
“Bugs,” a generic term I will use while referring to Brown Recluse spiders, termites, ants, roaches, and other pests is what many locals are already seeing moving about in their homes.
With all the rain we’ve been getting it has sent the swarmers swarming and the ants a crawling. Between the months of March and September are usually the months where most spider activity is seen. The Brown Reclusinator Pest Control has been receiving many calls from people who just can’t stand their “Bug” situation. Usually we receive the call after the homeowner has tried some home remedies and they have failed to work.
Brown Reclusinator Pest control has received many calls from people who saw termites and tried treating them themselves. This is unadvisable however, because with termites, once they surface, it is better to know where they are then where they were. Most over the counter products for termites are repellents and simply chase them to another part of the home to continue feeding.
We offer free termite inspections to the home owner, so it is best to call and have the problem properly diagnosed rather than attempting to rid the home of termites without a professional opinion.
Time will tell how Wichita’s “Bug” problem will unfold this year. Until then, call Brown Reclusinator for ALL your Bug and pest control needs.
